Sharyn’s background:
Sharyn initially trained and worked as a hairdresser before being appointed as a makeup trainee for TVNZ. From there she progressed to Senior Makeup Artist and Supervisor. Sharyn is proud to have been Make-up Supervisor on “lots of fun productions” such as Dancing with the Stars for all five seasons heading a team of six professional make up artists.
Other television productions include What Now, Telebingo, Good Morning, Sky Sport, Pop’s Ultimate Star, NZ Opera Co., Royal New Zealand Ballet, Wheel of Fortune, and iconic entertainment shows like Rob Guest Show and This Is Your Life with Bob Parker and Paul Holmes. Sharyn also worked with Cloud 9 production company dramas, such as Enid Blyton and Swiss Family Robinson.
Not being limited to TV personalities, Sharyn has also worked her magic on countless politicians, being the regular go-to-makeup artist for our previous Prime Minister, Helen Clark, and TVNZ 7′s current surprise smash hit of the last two years, Backbenchers and Backbenchers Summer Tour.
